 "W212" refers to the  the chassis code , which identifies the vehicle's frame and generation.

Compatibility Notice: E-Class (2009–2014)

This emulator is compatible with Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212) models from 2009–2015 equipped with a 3-wire sensor (Red, White, Brown). It is not compatible with the alternative sensor type that features Black, Blue, Brown wiring. Please check your sensor's wiring visually before ordering.

How to Check Your Wiring:

1. Locate the yellow connector block: Situated underneath the front of the passenger seat.

2. Identify the occupancy sensor plug: Plugged into the back of the yellow block (the side facing away from the front of the vehicle).
