How Airbag360 module works ?
For Safety reasons the Airbag360 emulator generates and sends the same signal to the airbag control module as an occupied seat
- In case of accident the airbag will deploy even without presence of Passenger.
With our emulator installed the Passenger Airbag will be Activated at all Time's !
It is nothing to worry about as many cars don't have occupancy sensors and their airbag's are pernamently activated.
We advice that rear-facing child seat's not be transported on the front seat of your vehicle when the emulator is in use.
After installation of Airbag360 emulator the airbag warning light / SRS light will act as normal .
When you turn ON ingnition , airbag/ SRS will illuminate for 3-5 seconds - This is called test mode , the vehicle safety restraint system is checking the working order of each component .
If there is no malfunction detected in the system after TEST mode the warning light will goes OFF .
It is very important as this is mandatory to pass national technican test
( MOT , TUV ,NCT etc )
Installation :
Airbag360 emulators are equipped with original manufacturer connector .
Installation can be completed in 3 simple steps .
1. With ingnition turned OFF ( dont need to disconnect battery ) look under the passenger seat and disconnect original occupancy sensor connector
2. In place of the sensor plug in Airbag360 emulator
3. Turn On ingnition -
Optional If your car has a passenger seat belt reminder install ,seat belt simulator provided by our company .
In most cases after installation of our emulator the SRS warning light goes OFF without erasing fault codes .
It depends for how long the malfunction fault code was stored and in which memory was saved .
Differences between original sensor and emulator.
1.Original sensor will deactivated airbag when seat is not occupied.
With emulator fitted, passenger airbag will be activated regardless if there is passenger or not .
Seat Occupied - Airbag's Enabled
Prior to buying Airbag360 passenger occupancy sensor emulator please make sure Your car was correctly diagnosed.
Airbag / SRS light illuminating on the dash and or message on the screen
regarding malfunction of restraint system are not diagnosis.
Restraint system contains many components. If any of them fail the airbag light and message informing about malfunctions appears on the screen.
Proper diagnosis can only be done by connecting a compatible scanner / diagnostic tool to the vehicle and reading fault codes and their description .
This will also save your time and money on trying unnecessary solutions.
If You are not sure about fault codes or their descriptions, contact us and we will check them for You.
Airbag360 emulator will only cure / resolve fault codes that indicate malfunction of the passenger seat occupancy sensor.
Any other remaining fault codes need to be resolved separately.
